Lorna Brown

Lorna Brown's paintings, drawings and collages are concerned with personal perceptions of her surroundings - an intuitive response to physical and sensory aspects: the rhythms of a landscape, the intimacy of a familiar interior, or the mood of a still-life. For Lorna the image is about mark-making; finding the marks that capture something of the sensation of the motif and in doing so impact something of what it means to her.

Lorna has exhibited locally and nationally including the Royal Academy Summer Show, Affordable Arts Fair, Battersea, The Hunting Arts Prize at the Royal College of Art; to name but a few.
