If you've ever been tempted to give art a try, or you're returning to art for pleasure - or maybe you just want some time out to unwind; why not book onto our short course for beginners this January. Over 4 weeks you will try various art mediums on Saturday afternoons. Starting with drawings, progressing into painting in oils, acrylics & watercolours.
Week 1: Saturday 18th January - Pencils, Pastels & Charcoal from Observation
Week 2: Saturday 25th January - Oils on Canvas using Brush & Palette Knife
Week 3: Saturday 1st February - Acrylics on Canvas
Week 4: Saturday 8th February - Watercolours on Stretched Paper
12.30-3.30pm each day.
The Art Nest Gallery studio is a little cold for classes in the winter, so this course will be held in the Hitchin based studio of Emmeline Webb. It's just a short stroll from the gallery. However it is on the first floor, without a lift, so please be mindful of this when booking.
All workshops include tuition, materials and refreshments.
